      The role of women in society was analyzed

      ALMATY. March 18. Press Center - The Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University held a meeting-disputation on "About the true role of women in Kazakhstan".

      The meeting was attended by representatives of the Bolashak Scholarship Association of Almaty, specialists, and teachers of the University. The event was also participated by the heads of the JSC "National Center for State Scientific and Technical Expertise", "Asar-ume" Charity Foundation, "Batyr Bolamyn" Foundation.

      The participants shared their views on such topics as "The role of women in the history of Kazakh society," "The role of women in Kazakh culture," "Why there is no Islamic feminism in Kazakhstan" and presented their proposals.

      Aizhan Salimzhanova, Director of the Research Institute for Social and Gender Studies at Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, made a presentation on "Economy of care in Kazakhstan: Women's Unpaid Domestic work". In her speech, she spoke in detail about the prestige and role of women in society.

      The meeting concluded with the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the Bolashak Association and QyzPU.

      In the future, projects and activities in various areas will be implemented under these agreements. These include joint research projects, conferences, and meetings.
