      The University is one of the oldest (established in 1944) and leading pedagogical educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is fully accredited and offers various undergraduate, master's and doctoral programs. The campus is located in the heart of Almaty, the most beautiful and largest city in the country.

      Information for foreign citizens

      Any foreign citizen (student, teacher) who has crossed the border of the Republic of Kazakhstan within 3 working days makes a notification of his crossing the border. Visa support specialist of International Office for foreign citizens (students, teachers) residing in the university hostel, by writing an official letter to the Migration police through the eGov portal or eqonaq.kz. 
      In case of accommodation at the address of a resident of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the homeowner can make a written notification to the Migration police station by filling it out, through the eGov portal or through the eqonaq application. All foreign citizens are obliged to take dactyloscopy (fingerprint).
      To make a notification, you only need a foreign passport of a foreign citizen (student, teacher).  It is necessary to make a temporary registration immediately before the notification time has elapsed. To do this, you need to contact a visa support specialist of  International Office or come to the Office at  Gogol 114, Building 1, Room 128.

      Documents required for temporary registration for students from the CIS countries:
      1.    notification of crossing the border;
      2.    petition;
      3.    foreign passport;
      4. a copy of the order on admission or transfer from course to course;
      5. health Insurance;
      6. legalized notaril agreement for temporary residence of relatives;
      7. order to work at the University (for teachers);
      8. notarized translation of a foreign passport;
      9. power of attorney of a visa support specialist;
      We extend the temporary registration of students only until the end of the academic year. If a student leaves and re-enters the Republic of Kazakhstan before the time of temporary registration, a new notification is drawn up. 
      For students from the CIS countries, only an invitation to study is sent.

      Documents required for issuing an invitation to study and a visa for foreign citizens (students) from near and far abroad:
      1. copy of the passport;
      2. order on enrollment (copy);
      3. invitation card 3 pieces;
      4. application for visa application; 
      5. state fee 0.5 monthly calculation index (MRP).

      Documents required for issuing a study visa to foreign citizens (students) from near and far abroad:
      1. Passport;
      2. copy of passport;
      3. application for a study visa;
      4. an order proving that you are studying;
      5. visa application form;
      6. state fee 30 monthly calculation index (MRP) (blood students do not pay);
      7. 3.5 * 4.5 picture
      8. certificate confirming Kazakh nationality (only for Kandas students).

      Documents required for applying for a work invitation and visa for foreign citizens (teachers) from near and far abroad:
      1. Copy of the passport;
      2. application for a study visa;
      3. employment contract;
      4. order to work;
      5. invitation card 3 pieces;
      6. state fee 0.5 monthly calculation index (MRP).
      7.notarial translation of Apostille diplomas.
