Adaptation of foreign students to the conditions and requirements of the educational process at the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University
The adaptation of foreign citizens to new socio-cultural conditions is a undamental factor determining, in most cases, the effectiveness of the educational process as a whole. The process of adaptation to a new socio-cultural environment takes place both within the framework of educational activities and during extracurricular activities, which helps to accelerate the adaptation process, as well as forms speech and socio-cultural competence.
The process of adaptation of foreign students to the educational environment of the university should be organized, purposeful, and comprehensive. An effective solution to the identified problems of adaptation to the educational process will ultimately contribute to the formation of a positive image of the country in the global intellectual and political community.
The purpose of the program is to facilitate the entry, development and formation of the personality of a foreign student in the educational space of the university.
The following tasks are the most specific and relevant:
- Optimization of the learning process for international students;
- Organization of social and psychological support and support for international students;
- Promoting and organizing an environment of intercultural interaction at the university;
- Development and implementation of plans and projects to promote social adaptation and socialization of foreign citizens.
