      QyzPU tennis player took first place among universities

      ALMATY. March 17. Press Center - 3-rd year student of «Physical Education and Sports» of QyzPU Asykbek Aigerim, took 1-st place in the single competition at the qualifying round of the National Student League. In the team qualification the team of the University took the 2-nd place and passed to the finals.

      The National Student League is organized for the first time by the National Scientific and Practical Centre for Physical Culture of the MES of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 6 kinds of sports. Competitions in basketball, table tennis, futzal, togyz kumalak, volleyball and kazakh kuresi started. National Student League takes place in two stages: qualifying and final.

      Teams of QyzPU are well prepared for the competition. Victory of the basketball team continued table tennis team.

      In total 19 teams from Almaty and Taldykorgan universities took part in the competition among universities of Kazakhstan. Our female students of table tennis performed well, took 2-nd place among the teams and won a pass to the next final stage in Nur-Sultan. 3-rd year student of the specialty «Physical Education and Sports» Asykbek Aigerim took 1-st place in the individual competition.

      It should be noted that the students of QyzPU have full opportunity to prepare on the basis of the university. The team of the university, prepared under the guidance of senior teacher and coach of the university Kukharenko Alla Borisovna, is a 6-time champion of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
