Gulmira Qanay: «The «Bolashaq» scholarship gave me an opportunity to mature»

  ALMATY. November 3. Press center – Under the international scholarship «Bolashak», which has been a gift of independence, 11,399 Kazakhstan students have studied up to now. The programme was established on the initiative and direct support of the Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev.

  The Chair of the Managing Board – Rector of the Kazakh national women's teacher training university Gulmira Qanay enrolled as a graduate the Master's program at the University of Warwick in the UK in 2010. Due to her high performance, she successfully defended her doctoral dissertation at the University of Cambridge.

  – I think that this program allowed me to look at things differently in daily routine, learning how to make decisions, how to act, learn to build relationships with people in general, as well as increase personal confidence and link the knowledge gained with the experience gained earlier, – said Gulmira Qanay.

  When the  economy of was just beginning to take shape, the first step towards a prosperous future was the decree of the First President of November 5, 1993. This gave citizens confidence that education will be high and will become a central instrument for capacity-building. And there is no doubt about that. For 28 years, 11 399 Kazakhstan students have studied under the Bolashak international scholarship at top 300 best universities in 36 countries of the world.
