Gulmira Qanay: The project “100 new textbooks” has opened the way for future teachers in an innovative direction

  ALMATY. September 22. Press center – The Chair of the Managing Board-Rector of the University Gulmira Qanay took a part in an expanded meeting of the National Commission for the Implementation of the program for the modernization of Public Consciousness under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Nur-Sultan.

  At the meeting "New Humanitarian Education" program, published as part of the "Rukhani Zhagyru: A Look into the Future". 100 new textbooks in the Kazakh language was presented.

  The meeting was opened by the State Secretary of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the National Commission for the Implementation of the Program for the Modernization of Public Consciousness under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Krymbek Kusherbayev, who spoke about the significance of this project. 

  

   - As you know, within the framework of the "Rukhani Zhagyru" program initiated by the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, within the framework of the New Humanitarian Education. 100 new textbooks in the Kazakh language. Scientific literature, academic bestsellers, included in the program of the best educational institutions in the world, have been translated into the Kazakh language. Before that, they were translated into dozens of languages ​​of the world and replicated by the millions in advanced societies. We, teachers and students alike have access to such content. This is, if necessary, a large-scale continuation of the "Bolashaq" program. Thanks to the "Bolashaq" program, about 20 thousand of our students were educated at the world's leading universities. And half a million Kazakh students studying in our country have had the opportunity to study in the Kazakh language according to the best textbooks Cambridge, Oxford, Harvard, - said the Secretary of State. 

  At the meeting, the Rector of the university made a presentation and spoke about the importance of translating the world's leading textbooks into Kazakh in teaching future teachers.

  

   - Within the framework of the project "New humanitarian education: 100 new textbooks in the Kazakh language" it became possible to translate the best textbooks in the world into the Kazakh language and train future teachers in an innovative direction. Since the beginning of the project, the university has received 100 titles in 26 branches of liberal arts education, 10 396 textbooks. 100 books are included in all 49 academic programs of the university as a mandatory textbook and are widely used by the faculty in their daily lectures, - said Gulmira Qanay. 

  In a speech, the head of the university noted that the project “100 new textbooks” allowed Kazakh youth to understand the best textbooks in the world in their languages, made available the works of the leading scientists of the university, who became world-famous and contributed to the translation of the Kazakh language as the language of science.
