      If the employee is not vaccinated, the employer faces a fine

        ALMATY. August 5. Press center –  How many fines do employers pay for unvaccinated employees? Employers belonging to the category specified in the resolution of the Chief Sanitary Doctor of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 14, when sending employees who have not received a vaccine or have not proven their health through PCR testing every 7 days to work in the normal mode, pay a fine.  

      Such norms are provided for by part 3 of Article 462 and article 425 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.

      According to the decree of the chief sanitary doctor of July 14, the service facilities whose work is associated with the accumulation of the population were assigned to provide employees with the first component of the COVID-19 vaccine until August 10, and the second component of the vaccine until September 1.

      Employers who fail to comply with this requirement may be held liable under Part 3 of Article 362 and Article 425 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.

      In this case, people who have not received the vaccine without medical contraindications or who have not proven their innocence to the disease through PCR testing every 7 days are allowed to work normally, 14 585 – 1 458 500 a fine in the amount of 5 to 500 MCI.

       

      THE AMOUNT OF THE FINE:

      - individuals – 5 MCI (14 585 tenge);

      - officials – 15 MCI (43 755 tenge);

      - small business entities or non-profit organizations – 100 MCI (291 700 tenge);

      - for medium-sized businesses – 200 MCI (683 400 tenge);

      - for large business entities – 500 MCI (1 458 500 tenge).
