  Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University has been awarded 36 scholarships for PhD preparation.

  • D010 – Preparation of mathematics teachers – 3

  • D011 – Preparation of physics teachers – 2

  • D012 – Training of computer science teachers – 4

  • D013 – Preparation of chemistry teachers – 4

  • D014 – Training of teachers of biology – 3

  • D015 – Preparation of teachers of geography – 3

  • D017 – Preparation of teachers of Kazakh language and literature – 3

  • D018 – Preparation of teachers of the Russian language and literature – 5

  • D060 – Philology – 2

  • D090 – Physics – 3

  • D089 – Chemistry – 2

  • D019 – Training of foreign language teachers – 2

   

  Applicants with «Master's degree» and at least 9 months of work experience can apply to Doctoral Program.

   

  List of required documents:

  • Application addressed to the Rector of Narxoz University (free form);

  • Copy of ID;

  • Copy of Bachelor's and Master's Diplomas (with Appendix);

  • CV;

  • E-certificate on language proficiency (see below);

  • List of scientific publications and research papers for the last 3 yearsJustification of the planned research (research proposal) (for more information about the requirements for the content of the justification, see the section "Procedure for conducting the admission exam" (see below);

  • 6 copies of 3x4 sized photos;

  • E-copy of the medical certificate 086Y, approved by order #907;

  • Employment record sheet and other employment documents (a copy of the employment record certified by the HR at the place of work);

  • Additional documents, if available: diplomas, medals, patents, certificates, etc.

   

  The threshold score for admission for a doctoral scholarship is 75 points. The threshold score for admission on a fee basis – 50.

  This year, applications for doctoral programs will start on July 3 and continue till August 9. Entrance examinations for doctoral programs will be held from August 4 to 20. It should be noted that you can choose only one university and one group of educational programs to enter the doctoral program.

  Overall, the maximum score on the entrance exam is 100 points. Of these, the essay is 20 points, the Doctoral Readiness Test is 30 points, and the profile exam questions are 50 points.

  The examination duration is 4 hours.

   

  Doctorate programs applicants have to provide international certificates on language proficiency, according to the Common European Framework of Reference:

  • IELTS/International English Language Tests System, the threshold score – at least 5,5;

  • IELTS INDICATOR, he threshold score – at least 5,5;

  • Test of English as a Foreign Language Institutional Testing Programm (TOEFL ITP), the threshold score – at least 460 point;

  • TOEFL Internet-based Test (TOEFL IBT, the threshold score – at least 46;

  • TOEFL Paper-based testing (TOEFL PBT), the threshold score – at least 453.

  The authenticity and validity of the submitted certificates will be checked by the Admissions Office.
