      During his visit to South Korea, Minister Sayasat Nurbek signed a memorandum with the head of the Gyeonggi Provincial Education Department, Im Tae-hee, on the need for qualified Russian-speaking teachers. As part of this document, Kazakhstani teachers will gain unique experience working abroad and increase their professional level and status.

      All candidates speak Korean and English; language proficiency has been one of the important factors in the South Korean education system. In accordance with this requirement, master degree’s, teacher of the Department of Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages ​​and Intercultural Communication at the Institute of Philology, Bayan Mukhtarovna Saydaeva, took part in the competition. Selected from among 17 candidates from leading pedagogical universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, she showed her skills among 10 candidates selected for an interview with representatives of the Gyeonggi Provincial Education Department in Astana.

                                                      

      Based on the results of a strict selection process, Bayan Mukhtarovna Saydaeva was among the 4 best candidates from the country’s leading universities. Therefore, from August 1, 2024, she will visit South Korea to begin her work and contribute to the development of international educational cooperation.

      This project is a strategic step aimed not only at the exchange of specialists, but also at strengthening international relations. This event reflects the identity of Kazakhstan on the global educational stage. Under the terms of cooperation, the Korean side assumes all expenses for flights, accommodation and payment of monthly salaries to teachers. Contracts are concluded for one academic year with the possibility of extension, which creates stable conditions for work and development.
