      ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN EDUCATION: BASICS AND PRACTICAL APPLICATION

      QyzPU has completed a refresher course for university teachers under the program "Artificial Intelligence in Education: fundamentals and practical application" organized by the Center for Advanced Training and Additional Education.

      Trainers of the program: young scientists of the Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Digital Technologies, postdoctoral fellow, senior lecturer Tazabekova Parasat Kadyrkulkyzy and Master of Natural Sciences, lecturer Bazarbayeva Ainur Maratovna.

      The purpose of the summer school was to form competencies in the field of AI technology application to improve the quality and effectiveness of the educational process and scientific research, to stimulate an innovative approach to educational technologies, as well as to form an understanding of the ethical aspects of AI application.

      More than 100 teachers from all university institutes took part in the summer school, where they mastered ethical issues and challenges of AI, rules for writing scripts, tools for creating and editing texts, AI tools for creating quizzes and test questions, artificial intelligence tools for creating interactive data visualizations and tools, AI for conducting research and writing scientific texts. All the teachers of the Institute took an active part in the educational course. At the end of the course, the participants presented their final projects on the application of AI in an educational and scientific context.
