The International Conference "Early Childhood Development and Family Studies: Research and Practice" dedicated to the 80th anniversary of QyzPU was held

      The International Conference

      On April 17-18, 2024, the International Conference "Early Childhood Development and Family Studies: Research and Practice" was held at the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University.

      The conference was attended by leading research scientists, practitioners in the field of early and preschool education in Kazakhstan, neighboring countries (Uzbekistan, Russia, Mongolia) and the far abroad (USA, Great Britain, Korea, the Netherlands, Estonia).

      The conference program included a plenary session, the work of the 1st section Early Childhood Development: research and practice, the 2nd section Family Studies: research and practice.

      The following issues were discussed at the conference:

      •  exchange of experience of domestic and foreign researchers, practitioners on the problems of early childhood development;
      • current problems and prospects of university and postgraduate education in the field of training "Preschool education and upbringing", "Educator and speech therapist of preschool organizations", taking into account the need to train educators with competencies in the field of early childhood development;
      • new approaches to the implementation of research work of students and the current state of the research component in the educational programs of the master's degree in Kazakhstani universities;
      • improving the practice-oriented approach in teaching students.

      Advanced preschool organizations in Almaty organized the exhibition "Early Childhood Development Resources", which presents innovative ideas and developments used in the educational process of a preschool organization. Also, well-known foreign research scientists from Mongolia, Russia, Korea, and Uzbekistan visited the Kindergarten No. 1 in Almaty, where leading practitioners shared their advanced pedagogical experience and ideas on creating conditions for the holistic development of a child's personality.

      Within the framework of the conference, the opening of the Center for Early Development and Family Research on the basis of the Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University took place.
