      VII General Assembly of the Union of Turkic Universities

      The VII General Assembly of the Union of Turkic Universities (TÜRKÜNIB) of the Organization of Turkic States was held in Baku.

      Representatives of more than 50 universities from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan took part in the General Assembly.

      Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Social Work Zhanar Kasymbekova took part in the Assembly.

      The Orkhun program is one of the most rational programs in education. Despite the fact that it was implemented recently, today it gives its positive results.

      The meeting discussed topical issues on strengthening the Union of Turkic universities and the Orkhun exchange program, exchange of experience between students and teachers, professional development, quality of education, creation of a knowledge base, etc.
