![1st place in the Asian and Oceania Sambo Wrestling Championship]()
From May 13 to 17, the Asian and Oceania Sambo Championship among young men, youth, cadets and masters of sports and combat SAMBO was held for the first time in the Halyk Arena sports complex in Aktau. For the first time in the region, more than 500 athletes from 25 countries took part in the competition. 96 athletes of the country took part in the championship.
Among them, Dauletzhan Nazerke Dauletzhanovna, a 2nd-year student of the specialty "Physical Culture and Sports Education" of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, took 1st place in combat sambo wrestling in the 65 kg weight category.
We sincerely congratulate our athlete and wish him to conquer the highest peaks!
