      Scientific and practical seminar

      The Center for the Development of Mental Health of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, within the framework of a bilateral memorandum, organized a scientific and practical seminar at the Urban Center for Human Reproduction. The event was attended by university students under the guidance of the teacher of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines R. S. Saurbayeva.

      During the seminar, students received the necessary information about invasive examination methods (amniocentesis and placentocentesis, chorion biopsy), hormonal and cytogenetic studies, the study of chromosome sets, patients with reproductive disorders, children and adolescents with gynecological and urological problems receiving counseling and treatment, and learned scientific information about the possibility of prenatal diagnosis of birth defects and hereditary diseases.

      The students visited the laboratories of the institution, the offices of ultrasound and a psychologist, where they got acquainted with their work. The center provides free services to students. Doctors shared a lot of information about reproduction and contraception. At the end of the meeting, the students asked their questions and exchanged opinions with qualified specialists of the center.
