      Book reading competition was held in QYZPU

      In honor of the 80th anniversary of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, the Department of Kazakh Literature organized the competition "Abaydy oky, tanyrka!".

       The main goal of the competition is to popularize Abai and attract young people to reading

      The competition consisted of 2 stages. At the 1st stage of the competition, a test was received for 1-2 volumes of M. Auezov's epic novel "The Way of Abai". Students of the 2-3 courses of the Philological Institute took an active part in the test, 6 best participants passed the 2nd stage.

                                                        

       3 participants who passed the "Question and answer" category were admitted to the 2nd stage by the decision of the jury. At the final stage, the competition under the heading "Video tutorial" ended. The movie "Abai Zholy", which is in this round, was sent to our participants 1 week before the competition.

      The winners were awarded by the director of the «KitapAl» company Daniyar Zhigitbek, translator, author Shrazaddin Kanyazov, Marketing Director of «KitapAl» Miras Kesebaev and a senior lecturer at the university, Master of Philology Yusup Parkhat Korobaevich. 

                                                                                    

      At the end of the book reading competition, the presentation of the book club “OqySay” took place. Under the leadership of the OqySay book Club and with the support of «KitapAl», 35 books were donated to the library of our university. The books were presented to the director of the library, Asel Mukhtarovna.
