    • Regional director of QS visited QYZPU

      Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University welcomed an official visit from Sergei Khristoliubov, the QS Regional Director for Central Asia and Eastern Europe. The visit focused on discussing prospects and opportunities for further cooperation between the University and the international ranking organization, QS.

      During the visit, a meeting was held with the University's leadership, headed by the Chair of the Managing Board – Rector, Dr. Gulmira Qanay. The meeting discussed key aspects of interaction within the QS Stars programs and other initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of education and research.

                                                         

      A roundtable was also held involving vice-rectors, institute directors, leading professors and University staff. The QS Regional Director, Sergei Khristoliubov, delivered a presentation on the topic '2024 QS World University Rankings by Subject.' He shared his experience and recommendations for improving the University’s position in global educational rankings and presented the latest results from the QS subject rankings as well as an analysis of the University's current status in the QS rankings.

                                                                                     

      Special attention was given to creating conditions at the University that would foster the development of women's pedagogical education and strengthen its position in the international educational space.

      At the conclusion of the meeting, a consensus was reached on the need to intensify efforts for international integration, strengthen educational, and research ties. Sergei Khristoliubov highly appreciated the University's efforts in developing innovative pedagogical approaches and its commitment to improving the quality of educational services.

      This visit marked an important step toward further strengthening the position of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University on the international stage and contributed to the development of strategies for promoting the University in global educational and research rankings."
