      The Center for Mental Health of the University's Personality Formation Department organized a lecture on the topic "Tuberculosis prevention".

      The event was organized as part of the implementation of a memorandum between the city polyclinic No. 30 on the right of economic management of the Almaty city Health Department and the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University. The event was attended by Gaisha Begalinova, a phthisiologist at the city polyclinic No. 30, who conducted lectures for students of the 2nd and 3rd courses.

      It was noted that it is necessary to identify and begin treatment of tuberculosis in a timely manner, that continuous treatment of the disease under the supervision of medical workers leads to a complete cure of tuberculosis.

      It has been proven that the disease can be prevented by eating right, observing personal hygiene, doing physical education and sports, walking in the fresh air, getting timely vaccinations, and avoiding bad habits.At the end of the lecture, the students asked the qualified specialist their questions and exchanged opinions.
