      Tomorrow the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University will host an international scientific-practical conference «Humanities in the Turkic space: historical continuity and interaction» dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the famous Turkologist, Doctor of Philology, Professor Abzhan Kuryshzhanov.

      The meeting will be attended by government and public figures, scientists and employees of research organizations.

      Abzhan Kuryshzhanov is one of the most unique scholars in the history of the Kazakh language, who, in addition to teaching, wrote about the heritage of ancient Turkic writing and collected the pearls of the vernacular. His researches were mainly devoted to the history of language, ancient Turkic languages ​​and ancient Kipchak written monuments, which greatly contributed to the expansion of the horizons of this branch of science.

      The name of the scientist is well-known to all Turkic peoples as a well-known Turkologist, expert in Middle Turkic and Kipchak languages.

      For several years, the «Kuryshzhanov readings» have been organized by the Women's University. The main purpose of the traditional meeting is to promote the heritage of the scientist among the younger generation, to revive his research in the memory of the nation.
