      In order to promote the name of the first Kazakh professional choreographer, People's Artist of Kazakhstan Dauren Abirov, who made a significant contribution to the formation and development of the art of choreography in the country, the project «Abirov's World» was launched at the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University.

      The event, initiated by the Institute of Arts and Management, covers scientific, pedagogical and spiritual-creative areas.

      The project will hold meetings and master classes, seminars and trainings with the participation of specialists in the field of dance, competitions and Olympiads to improve the professional skills of students majoring in "Choreography". There will also be art competitions at various levels, which will strengthen the creative potential of talented young people.

      In 1989, at the instigation of Dauren Abirov, known as the "Prince of the dance world", the Department of Choreography was opened at the then Kazakh State Women's Teacher Training University to train specialists in the art of dance. To date, more than a thousand graduates of this specialty, who are working for the development of the art of choreography in the country.

      It's worth noting that Dauren Abirov was born in October 1923 in Kordai district of Zhambyl region. A.V. He graduated from the Almaty Choreographic School named after Seleznev, the choreography department of the Lunacharsky GITIS in Moscow. From 1952 to 1977 he was a choreographer and chief choreographer of the Kazakh State Opera and Ballet Theater named after Abai, from 1984 to 1989 he was the head of the department of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after Temirbek Zhurgenov, from 1989 to 1997 he was the head of the Choreography Department of the Women's University. He worked as a teacher at the school of choreography.

      V. Abirov Velikanova's "Kambar-Nazym", E. Brusilovsky's "Kozy Korpesh-Bayan Sulu", A. Zhubanov's "Akkanat", N. Tlendiyev's ballets "Dostyk kymbat" became popular and entered the golden fund of Kazakh dance.

      He has danced leading roles in ballets such as "Giselle", "Swan Lake", "Garden Fountain", "Bayaderka", "Chopiniana".
