      An evening devoted to the Day of unity of the people of kazakhstan was held

      ALMATY. APRIL 26. PRESS CENTER - On the eve of the holiday "May 1 - Day of the Unity of the People of Kazakhstan," the Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Institute of the Kazakh Language and World Languages of Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, organized a concert "My druzhboi nashei silni"

      The event opened with the performance of the State Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the first congratulatory speech was made by Gulmira Qanay, the Chair of the Managing Board - Rector of the University.

      The cultural event was attended by representatives of cultural centers of different nationalities who introduced our students to the dances and traditions of their people. Among them were:

      • Republican Cossack Cultural Center;
      • Georgian folk dance ensemble "Tbilisi";
      • Republican Jewish charitable public association "HESED Polina".

      The representatives of the Georgian Cultural Center performed the wedding dance "Kartulidi", the dance of the Racha farmers "Rachuli" and performed the song "Tbilisi".

      Russian folk sang their song "Oh, the garden is spreading in the yard" and presented bread and salt by the traditions of welcoming guests. Representatives of the Republican Jewish Care Center charity association "Hesed Polina" danced "Hava Nagila" to the accompaniment of Jewish folk songs.

      After the performances of the guests, the students of the Institute came on stage and sang and danced the songs and dances of the Uzbek and Uighur people!

      At the end of the evening was a performance of the Kazakh tradition "Qyz үzatu", including the song "Dudara-ai" and the Kazakh national dance.

      The evening was finished with the performance on the stage of all performers the song "Tugan zherim", glorifying the hospitality and generosity of the Kazakh people, uniting more than 130 nationalities, and the peaceful coexistence of the Kazakh people.

      After the concert the teachers of the Russian Language and Literature department Tazhibaeva Shynar and Aubakirova Altyn awarded by the grateful letter the leader of the Republican center of the Cossack culture Granova Marina Sergeevna, the leader of the Georgian folk dance group "Tbilisi" Bakari Tsertsvadze, representative of the Republican Jewish public association "Hesed Polina" Sultanova Arina.

      They also thanked the students of the educational program "Choreography", "Russian language, and literature", and "Russian language and literature in schools with the Russian language of instruction" of our university for their participation in the event.
