      On November 17, 2023, a training seminar on the topic "Determination of types of practice-oriented tasks - as objects of mental activity formulated in the program concept of PISA-2021" will be held. We would like to extend an invitation for you to join us in a training seminar on the topic of “Identification of types of practice-oriented tasks - as objects of mental activity formulated in the program concept of PISA-2021”, which will be held within the framework of the grant project of Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov “Development of methods for the formation and development of mathematical literacy among schoolchildren in the context of PISA studies”

      The seminar will consider the functionality of practice-oriented problems of various types, and also discuss the results of theoretical and experimental research, which led to the conclusion that when finding solutions to problems of the first type, students recognize the area of the task, compare the data, and bring them under known concepts, and when solving problems of the second type, students’ mathematical reasoning is formed, developed, and activated. In addition, the seminar will examine the types and possibilities of tasks in the context of the formation and development of mathematical thinking.
