      We announce a competition for participation in a scientific seminar-training based on Sussex University

      Dear professors and PhD students!

      Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University announces a competition for participation in the scientific training seminar "Development of research skills in the field of international education", which will be held from July 17 to 25, 2023 at Sussex University (England).

      The Research Workshop "Developing Research Skills in International Education" focuses on exploring the benefits and challenges of various areas of education research, including practical research and classroom teaching, as well as structuring and developing academic records and preparing applications for research funding.

      All expenses associated with participation in the training seminar are covered by the University.

      The faculty and current doctoral students of the University are welcome to participate in the competitive selection of candidates. In total, 10 people will be selected out of teaching staff, and 5 out of doctoral students. Participants of the competition must fill out this form.

      Applications are accepted until May 11, 2023.

      Requirements for candidates to participate in the competition

      1. The candidate must write a motivational essay in English about himself and the main research papers of no more than 500 words. It is uploaded while filling out the application form for participation in the Competitive Selection.

      2. Fluency in English (an international certificate confirming knowledge of English is welcome: IELTS Academic minimum - not lower than 5.5). Evidence of fluency in English will be determined at an interview that will take place from 11 to 20 May 2023.

      3. To be researchers engaged in practice-oriented research in the pedagogy of higher educational institutions and professional development of teachers.

      4. Based on the results of the seminar, each participant must publish an article in a scientific publication with a high rating.
