We invite you to the scientific seminar on Research Methodology

  A scientific seminar on research methodology will be held from February 3, 2023, to June 30, 2023, with the goal of enhancing the scientific potential of the university's teaching staff and enhancing the scientific knowledge of 1-3 year PhD students. A scientific seminar on research methodology will be presented by PhD Anar Mukhtarovna.

  The seminar will be held every Tuesday and Friday at 10.30-12.00 in the hall after.Aitieva (Library).

  A brief bio about the lecturer of Research Methodology.

  Anar Nuridildaevna Mukhtarova PhD, a graduate of the Bolashak programme

  Winner of the "Bolashak" scholarship of the President of the RK (2009, 2017). In 2010-2011, she graduated from the University of Nottingham in Great Britain with an honours diploma in "Educational Leadership and Management". From 2018-2022, she studied at the Department of Education Studies, Warwick University and worked as a research assistant in this department. Winner of the nomination Unitemps Student Candidate Recognition Award (Warwick University, 2020) for her work in the department; member of the student-staff liaison committee and served as member/chair of the annual departmental conference.

  She has work experience in domestic universities (Abylay Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages, Narxoz University) and international organizations (ACCELS/American Councils). In 2013 Anar had an internship at Yildirim Beyazit University, School of Management in Ankara (Turkey) and 2014, an Internship at the University of Santiago de Compostela (IDEGA Institute) in Santiago de Compostela (Spain).

  In 2019 she became a Winner of the "Sara and George McCune Scholarship Awards" (University of Michigan, USA); in 2020 received a research bursary from British Education Leadership and Management Society (BELMAS), and in 2021 she was a European Conference of Educational Research (ECER) social scholarship recipient. Current research areas: leadership/management in education, management in higher educational institutions, research/ mixed methods.
