Republican subject Olympiad dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the great teacher of the nation A. Baitursynov will be held
April 28, 2022 Kazakh National Women Teacher Training University Institute of the Kazakh language and world languages in order to support talented young people and attract school graduates to university to obtain higher education in accordance with modern requirements in a distance format, the Republican Subject Olympiad is organized among 11 classes (only girls), dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the great public figure, translator, teacher of the nation A. Baitursynov will be held.
The main purpose of the Olympics: to identify and select for support capable, talented high school students, to arouse students' interest to scientific work, to develop national education, to support talented young people in realizing their potential.
The Olympiad is conducted in the disciplines of the Kazakh language and literature, Russian language and literature, English language.
Students who scored 80 or more points on the UNT can participate in the Olympics.

1. PROCEDURE FOR ORGANIZING AND CONDUCTING THE OLYMPIAD
1.1 The Olympiad is held online in 3 stages.
1st round - (selection) lexical and grammatical test. Time for taking the test: 1 hour and 20 minutes; length of the test: 50 questions. The highest mark - is 50 points. Trainees who scored more than 40 points at the end of the 1st stage are allowed to take part in the 2nd stage.
The second round - oral tasks on subjects of the Olympiad. The highest score is 50 points.
In the 2nd round:
1. In the disciplines of Kazakh language and literature participants individually go to Zoom-session, where they do the tasks and answer the questions: 1) conduct a comprehensive linguistic analysis; 2) name the title and author of the work of fiction, an excerpt from which is given to them; 3) continue the text; 4) answer questions on the text.
2. For the disciplines of Russian language and literature participants perform oral creative tasks: prepare (read) a monologue on a given topic, thus demonstrating thinking and speaking skills.
3. In the discipline of English the participants perform the following types of works:
3.1 "Magic Box". Participants choose boxes on the screen, which contain questions on education, customs and traditions, sports, and culture of Great Britain and the USA, for each question a certain number of points is assigned. Participants score points by answering the questions in the boxes (the participant with the most points is in the lead).
3.2 "Word wall": participants answer the interactive quiz "Educational Technology".
3.3 "Star Question": each participant gives an oral answer to the questions of the university faculty.
4. 3. Round 3 - summarizing the results of the Olympiad, identifying and awarding the winners. Closing ceremony. According to the results of the Olympiad, participants are awarded places according to their scores out of the required 100 points.
4.1 The Olympiad is carried out according to the tasks prepared by the expert committee.

The registration link shall contain the student's full name, place of study, class, residential address, and contact phone numbers (Appendix 1). Each student has the right to register and participate in the Olympiad in only one discipline (subject).
Students also have the opportunity to register online on the pages of the university, institute, and department. On these pages will be published information on the conditions of the Olympiad, awarded participants places, and awards.

Registration for the Olympiad will be 24.00 hours on April 24, 2022.
4.3 Unregistered students cannot participate in the Olympiad.
4.4 Participant must show their ID card and prove that he/she is taking part in the Olympiad in person. In case of violation of this requirement students are denied the right to participate in the Olympiad.
4.5 Participants of the Olympiad must strictly follow the discipline.
4.6 The use of various electronic devices (laptops, cell phones, etc.) is forbidden. In case of violation of these rules the student will be expelled from the Olympiad session and will be excluded from the Olympiad.
2. WINNERS OF THE OLYMPIADS.
2.1 The winner of each discipline is considered to be the 1st student who achieved the best results. The winner is awarded the Diploma of I degree and becomes the owner of the rector's grant for the 1st year of study.
2.2 Students who showed the following best results become prize-winners and are awarded diplomas of II and III degrees.
2.2.1 The student who is awarded the II degree diploma, receives a 50% tuition fee, which can be used only in the 1st year of study.
2.2.2 The student who is awarded the diploma of the third degree, receives a privilege of payment of tuition fees at the rate of 30%, which can be used only in the 1st year of study
