      Republican conference dedicated to the birthday of D.I. MENDELEEV took place

      ALMATY. April 4. PRESS CENTER - The traditional VIII Republican scientific-practical conference "Modern achievements of natural sciences, current issues of education" dedicated to the birthday of D.I. Mendeleev was held at QyzPU.

      The Conference, organized by the Department of Chemistry of the Institute of Natural Sciences of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, worked in 4 directions.

      In particular,

      • methods and features of formation of scientific knowledge of schoolchildren;
      • relevance, achievements, and innovations of modern scientific research in the field of Natural Sciences;
      • Steam education - opportunities and prospects;
      • present and future of Natural Sciences.

      The papers were defended at the conference in the Kazakh and Russian languages. Particular attention was paid to the relevance, results, or practical relevance of the papers presented at the event, which was held in a mixed format for participants from Almaty offline and online for participants from other cities.

      The scientific-practical conference gathered schoolchildren from all over the republic, students of the National University named after Abay, the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, and more than 110 scientific papers were accepted.

      According to the results of the participants, who defended the report in each direction, were awarded 1,2,3 places and nominations for "Practical importance of the work", "Relevance of the topic", "Best report".
