      Distinguished teacher was honored

      ALMATY. March 24. Press center – Qualified teachers are the basis of quality education at the university. QyzPU University has more than 300 teachers in the field of teacher training. One of them is Gulnaziya Tugelbaeva, candidate of chemical sciences, professor.

      A special event was organized to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the teacher, who worked for many years to educate students at the university.

      The chair of the Managing Board – Rector of QyzPU Gulmira Qanay congratulated the scientist-teacher and thanked her for her work.

      – On behalf of the staff of Kazakh National Women Teacher Training University and on my own behalf I heartily congratulate you on your 70th birthday. As a great educator, skillful leader, and organizer, you have educated several generations of students and left your mark on the training of educated teachers in our country. Your career, which began at a women's University, and today's achievements are an example for your students and the younger generation, – said Gulmira Qanay.

      Over the years a group of young scientists under the leadership of Gulnaziya Tugelbaeva has successfully defended their research papers. Today these papers are widely used for the benefit of the state. This is not her only contribution to the development of national science. More than 100 scientific works, published by the scientist and 2 certificates of authorship contributed to the development of national chemical science.

      – Many years of hard work and persistence in science and education made Gulnaziya Tugelbaeva famous not only in the country but also beyond its borders. There is such a notion among Kazakhs: "To educate is not to gain time. To take care of other people's time, not to spare your own".  Only a person who has worked hard on the great path of learning can conquer the peaks. In this regard, your work, your life is exemplary, you make a significant contribution to raising the prestige of the profession, – said the Rector of the University.

      Gulnaziya Tugelbaeva is a graduate of the Kazakh National Teacher Training University. She graduated in 1972 with a degree in specialty «Physics».

      Since 1979 she worked as an assistant, a senior teacher, an associate professor, the chair of theoretical physics and methods of teaching physics, also at one time she was the head of the Office-registrar of the Kazakh State Women's Pedagogical Institute.

      Gulnaziya Tugelbaeva regularly participates in international and national conferences and symposiums in the Czech Republic, Japan, Turkey, Russia, Latvia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and annually supervises the research work of students.

      For her achievements in the spiritual and social development of independent Kazakhstan and a major contribution to its prosperity, Associate Professor Gulnaziya Tugelbaeva was awarded the «Badge named after Y. Altynsarin», the breastplate «Best Worker of the University», «Badge of Honor» and a medal «Ulagat» for the development of the Kazakh State Teacher Training University, Certificates of Merit of the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan.

      The jubilee meeting was continued by the Republican scientific-practical conference of young scientists on the theme «The World information educational space in the hands of a competitive teacher».

      The meeting, organized by the Department of Physics, was attended by teachers and young scientists from domestic institutions of higher education, who shared their research in various fields.
