      The Academic сouncil was expanded by new members

      ALMATY. March 2. Press center – The Academic council of QyzPU University was expanded by new members. It included qualified professors, young scientists and representatives of the student community. The members of the council were elected based on the votes of university staff and students. This initiative is aimed to increase the transparency, efficiency, and effectiveness of the council.

      P.S.: The Academic Council is an elected collegial institution. In its activities, the Academic council is guided by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the model rules of the Academic Council of the University, the Regulations of the Society.

      The purpose of the activities of the Academic council:

      • creation of necessary conditions to the university teaching staff and students for successful implementation of professional training programs;

      • to regulate the financial sector of the university, strengthening the material and technical base;

      • contribute to the further development of the university.

       

      The competence of the Academic council includes:

      • presenting for approval the structure of the university;

      • proposing amendments to the Regulations of the University;

      • proposing the establishment, reorganization, and dissolution of the educational and scientific divisions of the University;

      • defining the concept of University development;

      • consideration of other issues of the current activity of the University, requiring a collegial decision.
