      ALMATY. February 28. Press center – What is defectology? What is the profession of a defectologist? QyzPU University has been training such specialists for several years. Today we present Nazerke Amangaliyeva, a master's degree student in specialty «Defectology». She will talk about why she chose the profession of a defectologist and the possibilities of the specialty.

       

      – Nazerke, tell us about yourself.

      – Hi everyone, I graduated from QyzPU with a bachelor's degree. I am now a 2nd-year master's degree student in specialty «Defectology».

       

      – What prompted you to choose the specialty «Defectology»?

      – Defectologist is one of the most unique and in-demand specialists. We work with children with mental and physical disabilities and help them live their lives to the fullest.

       

      – Why is «Defectology» «fashionable»?

      – Defectologists have an important social mission, they are not out of work and contribute to a comfortable life around them.

       

      – What are the specific features of the specialty «Defectology»?

      – This specialty combines pedagogy, medicine, and psychology. The main thing is that the profession is very promising.

       

      – Where can graduates of this specialty find a job?

      – Graduates can work in boarding schools, sanatoriums, special educational institutions, medical and rehabilitation centers.

       

      – What are your plans for the future?

      – To lend a helping hand to others. Thereby serving the public good. To become a professional in my field.

       

      – What advice would you give to applicants who dream to enter QyzPU?

      – There are few universities in the country that train defectologists. And at QyzPU you have every opportunity to become a professional. To be in demand is a matter of time. And the achievement of this purpose depends on your correct choice. I believe that becoming a member of the QyzPU society is the right decision.
