      Student handicrafts were presented

      ALMATY. FEBRUARY 23. PRESS CENTER – Culture and art are some of the spheres that play an important role in the development of society. QyzPU University pays priority attention not only to the preparation of teachers but also to the sphere of spirituality. For this purpose, a creative exhibition on the theme «Individuality in art» was organized.

      At the event, which was held in the gallery «Art Dara», the works of the candidate of pedagogical sciences Nurziya Rakhmetova and professor Gulmariya Kaldybaeva, and also the students of educational programs «Professional training» and «Visual art, artwork, graphics, and design» were presented.

      In particular, the paintings «Roza», «Saigulikter», «Almaly say», «Zhailaudagy kesh» depict the wonders of nature of the country.

      The collections «Dastur», «Koktem arui», and «Tanbaly tas» have special designs of their own.

      – Our goal – is to awaken students' interest in crafts by forming their cognitive worldview through a deep study of the aesthetic and cultural heritage of the Kazakh people accumulated over the centuries. We want to introduce elements of national costumes to new modern national costumes and make them into brands, – says Nurziya Rakhmetova, the author of the collections and candidate of pedagogical sciences.

      The students also took part in preparing the clothing samples. The students are already in the habit of modeling and assembling designer clothes and collections outside of class.

      – There is a need for designers in the labor market today. There is a reason for this. The demand for products that glorify the greatness of the nation is growing day by day. Many fashion centers and workshops are opening all over the country. Our main goal is not only to popularize the traditions of our ancestors but also to encourage our contemporaries to appreciate the original art and preserve the national heritage, – students say.

      Gulmira Qanay, the rector of QyzPU University, attended the opening of the exhibition and thanked the organizers.
