Gulmira Qanay took part in an international conference

  NUR-SULTAN. December 13. Press center – The capital hosted an international scientific and practical conference «Leadership. Stability. Progress». Well-known world politicians, statesmen and public figures, heads of research institutes took part in the meeting, at which the successful experience of state building of independent Kazakhstan was discussed.

  At the plenary session of the conference «Landmarks and difficulties of independence» The Chair of the Managing Board – Rector of the University Gulmira Qanay made a report on support for mothers and children, the development of gender policy, as well as the role of youth.

  – Every decision on the way of forming and strengthening the basis of independence, every milestone won is a way to trust the younger generation in a promising developed country. Over the years of independence, Kazakhstan has received recognition from the world community, neighboring countries and allies. And most importantly, our compatriots believe in the path of development of our country. Every citizen of our country connects his fate with the fate of the country. Each family in Kazakhstan connects its hopes and prospects for the future with this country, – said Gulmira Qanay.

  The Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlan Nigmatulin made a welcoming speech at the plenary session, noting that the leadership of Nursultan Nazarbayev ensured socio-economic and socio-political stability at the dawn of independence, and then became the basis for the growth and dynamic development of Kazakhstan.

  – We chaired the OSCE. We were the first country in Central Asia to become a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council. We have organized the world famous EXPO. The exhibition was held in the capital Nur-Sultan, in a city that was born as a result of great courage, wise decisions and creative ideas of Elbasy. Today our capital has become a platform for political dialogue on the establishment of interethnic and interreligious peace between the countries of the world. At the same time, today the city of Nur-Sultan is the eternal foundation of our independence, as well as the golden center of civilization, connecting East and West. And one more initiative of Elbasy, the opening of the Turkestan region, is now called the spiritual capital of the entire Turkic world, connecting Europe and Asia, – said the Chairman of the Mazhilis.

  In turn, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of Russia Alexander Zhukov elaborated on the role and significance of Nursultan Nazarbayev in strengthening multilateral friendly relations and strategic partnership with Russia.

  The Chairman of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairat Mami spoke about the main stages of the development of the legal system in the conditions of the statehood of independent Kazakhstan.

  Discussing the impressive achievements of Kazakhstan during the years of independence, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yeraly Tugzhanov emphasized the role of the First President in the formation of all elements of a modern democratic state.

  «Yes, when our country gained independence, many people were skeptical. Some even predicted, "They will not be a country, they will be absorbed." But time itself dispelled suspicions. For 30 years, Kazakhstan has become a competitive country, standing shoulder to shoulder with other states». Dauren Abaev, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, announced this at the meeting.

  Those who could not come to our country due to the pandemic sent a video message and congratulated. Among them were former Turkish President Abdullah Gul and former UN General Secretary Ban Ki Moon.

  During the international event, not only the country's achievements over 30 years, but also further development directions were discussed. Experts and politicians exchanged views and shared experiences.
