      ALMATY. November 18. Press center – The project «Abirov Alemi» was launched at the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University to popularize the name of the first Kazakh professional choreographer, People's Artist of Kazakhstan Dauren Abirov, who made a significant contribution to the formation and development of the art of choreography.

      The event, initiated by the Department of Choreography and Artistic Management, covers the scientific, pedagogical and spiritual, and creative fields.

      Within the framework of the project, meetings and masterclasses will be held with the participation of specialists in the field of dance, seminars, and training, competitions, and olympiads to improve the professional skills of students of the specialty "Choreography". There will also be art contests of various levels that will enhance the creative potential of talented youth.

      As part of the project, an international scientific-practical conference "Art in a multicultural society: traditions and innovations" will be held on December 10.

      The conference will be held in the areas of "Choreography" and "Topical issues of education in the field of art." Kazakhstani and foreign experts will exchange views on the art of choreography in the context of globalization, contemporary directing in national choreography, methods, and principles of teaching in the ART industry, features of distance learning in the field of choreography, management in the field of culture and art.

       

      P.S.: In 1989, on the initiative of Dauren Abirov, known as the "Prince of the Dance World", a choreography department was opened at the then Kazakh State Women's Pedagogical Institute to train dance art specialists.

      Today, more than a thousand graduates of this specialty are working on the development of choreographic art in the country.

      Ballets by Abirov V.Velikanova's "Kambar-Nazym", E. Brusilovsky "Kozy Korpesh-Bayan Sulu",  A. Zhubanov's "Akkanat", N. Tlendiyev's "Dostyk kymbat" were very popular and entered the golden fund of Kazakh dance.

      He has appeared in leading roles in such ballets as “Giselle”, “Swan Lake”, “Garden Fountain”, “La Bayadère”, “Chopiniana”.
