      Psychology Week has started at the university

      ALMATY. November 17. Press center – «The Legacy of K.B. Zharikbayev is a Spiritual Treasure of Kazakh Psychological Science». This is the name of the week of psychology at the University.

      Within the framework of the week, master classes, open lessons, and training for educators and students of pedagogical universities will be held.

      The five-day event is organized by the Department of Theoretical and Practical Psychology.

      Advisor to the rector of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University Nurgali Arshabekov spoke at the official opening of the week, where he emphasized the importance of the event.

      The meeting was also attended by such scientists as University Professor, Doctor of Psychological Sciences Khorlan Sheryazdanova, Professor of the Abai Kazakh National University, Doctor of Psychological Sciences Alma Akazhanova, President of the Kazakh Psychological Society, Professor, Academician Mukan Perlenbetov.

      In their speeches, they talked about the role of Kubygul Zharykbaev in the development of Russian psychology.

      - Kubygul Zharikbaev studied in detail the history of the development of psychological and pedagogical thought in Kazakhstan and the problems of ethnopsychology. He also wrote many scientific works on the psychological and pedagogical heritage of the leaders of Alash. In the works of the scientist, the centuries-old concepts of the psychology of the Kazakh people are analyzed in detail, - said the participants of the meeting. 

      During the meeting, proposals were discussed, the participants exchanged views. A special resolution was adopted.

      - During the week there will be various topics for teachers, psychologists, and students of universities, colleges, schools, preschools, and their parents. Our goal is to increase the psychological and pedagogical culture through educational and preventive measures, - said the organizers of the event.
