      ALMATY. November 17. Press center – Which country will we trust the next generation? What conditions did the Kazakh people go through on the way to independence? How did we achieve today's statehood? An educational event was held at the university to find answers to such questions.

      Candidate of Historical Sciences Akmaral Kozhabekova spoke at the meeting dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the country's independence. She spoke about the achievements of the country during the independence period and the path taken by Kazakhstan.

      It is only 26 years since the beginning of the history of our country's independence. This is a historic moment, but for our country, it is a century. Kazakhstan has done a lot since independence. As a result of independence, new pages of our deep-rooted history have been opened. Independence lifted the spirits of the Kazakh people, awakened a spiritual breakthrough. It explained that independence is a sacred concept, it has a great meaning, and no matter how many years pass, its value will not disappear, said Akmaral Kozhabekova.

      At the event, which was organized to foster respect and love for the Motherland among the younger generation, Professor of the Bashkent University of Turkey Süer  Eker spoke.

      It is 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Turkey. We are proud to be the first country to recognize the independence of Kazakhstan. Our strong friendship is rooted in common history and cultural ties. We are confident that our bilateral relations will continue to strengthen based on mutual benefit and respect, said Süer Eker.

      The event dedicated to the great holiday continued with a concert program.

      In the festive evening, students of the university sang patriotic songs such as "Kazagymsyn", "Kazakh eli osynday", "Atameken", "Men kazakpyn" and recited poems about the Motherland, the country, Independence.

      The ceremony ended with the song "Men kazakpyn" performed by the student choir of the University.
