ALMATY. November 10. Press center – Student self-government is a unique model of social activity for solving urgent issues related to the organization of education, everyday life, leisure of students, and increasing their social activity.
Today there are about 15 student organizations working at our university. They have about 4,000 student participants.
The main purpose of student government and youth organizations is civic and patriotic education among young people, the promotion of national values, social support for students, the promotion of a healthy lifestyle.
Organizations regularly hold competitions in the field of education, science, art and sports at the University.
In order to revive the work of student organizations, the event "QyzPU Fest" was held.
During the event, student self-government organizations were introduced to all students and an admission fair was organized.
The meeting was opened by Zhanar Rysbekova, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Social Work of the University, who encouraged students to join organizations and clubs and work together.
During the event, such organizations as the club "Kyz Zhibek", the youth organization "Jas Otan", "Umai Ana" were presented and their goals and objectives were explained in the form of a video presentation.
During the "QyzPU Fest" students danced a modern flash mob and sang the anthem of the organization. In addition, special games were played among the spectators and the winners were given souvenirs.
At the end of the event, freshmen became members of organizations and registered using a special QR code.
