Gulmira Qanay: National census – will allow making strategic decisions

  ALMATY. October 18. Press Center – The Chair of the Managing Board – Rector of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University Gulmira Qanay expressed her opinion on one of the most important events in the country this year – the national census. 

  One of the most important events in the country this year is the National Census. 

  The population census is a historical moment when the internal life of the entire state, the life of the population is being weighed. Since the national census, which is conducted every ten years, is being conducted for the third time since independence. 

  In general, the census is a national statistical analysis aimed at collecting, processing, publishing, and disseminating information on demographic, economic, and social character for a certain period, but its scope is much wider. 

  The results of the census are needed not only for calculations but above all for determining the future direction of the state's development, for making managerial decisions. 

  At the third meeting of the Supreme Council for Reforms, President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev raised the issue of organizing the National Population Census and noted that this would allow making consistent management decisions. Therefore, this campaign, rich in meaning and content, should not be taken lightly. 

  Today the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University operates according to the census rules of the National Bureau of Statistics. 

  In particular, the university has opened a mobile point for an online population census. 

  Information about the census of employees and students of the University is regularly sent to the appropriate places. 

  In addition, our social workers help students to complete the census in dormitories using special tablets.
