      ALMATY. March 4. Press center – The educational competition «Smart future» aimed at developing the scientific potential of students of the Women's University and increasing the cognitive and creative abilities of students has come to an end.

      The Olympiad, organized by the Institute of History and Foreign Languages, was held on the subject of English.

      At the opening ceremony of the online Olympiad, the director of the institute Zhamal Ashirbekova and the head of the department of practical foreign languages ​​Bakiza Pazilova wished good luck to the participants and told about the meaning and significance of the competition.

      The Olympics consisted of two stages. In the first stage of selection, participants worked with lexical and grammatical test tasks, audio text and video material. Those who showed 80% results in the first stage, in the second stage answered the questions hidden in special cells and proved their knowledge and skills.

      During the competition, first-year students of the Women's University and students of the Almaty Kazakh State Humanitarian Pedagogical College №1 competed in articles and gardens.

      - On the first day of the Olympiad, students performed tasks on lexical and grammatical tests, listening and reading skills on the platform coreapp.ai. It was attended by 87 students. According to the selection, 21 students were sent to the second stage, - say the organizers of the Olympiad.

      According to the results of the two-day educational competition, the first place was taken by Minuara Nildibayeva, a student of "Music". The winner was given a one-month free English language course at the University's Language Center. The second place was shared by Zhanna Maksatovna, a student of "Russian language and literature in non-Russian language schools" and Alsu Tukhvatullina, a student of Almaty Kazakh State Humanitarian Pedagogical College №1.

      The third place was taken by Kamil Galimbekova, a student of "Library", Ayazhan Arailym, a student of "Computer Science and Robotics", Aniya Kalizhanovna, a student of "Kazakh language and literature". Other participants were awarded a letter of thanks.
