      On June 30, 2025, at the Dissertation Council established under the “Philology” educational program at the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, Aigerim Tashekova, a doctoral candidate from the Toraygyrov University, successfully defended her doctoral dissertation titled: “Bekmurat Vakhatov – Scientist-Folklorist.”

      Scientific Supervisors:

      • Nartay Zhusupov – Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Philology and Journalism, Toraygyrov University, Republic of Kazakhstan;
      • Lyalya Mingazova – Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor, Department of Tatar Literature, Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University, Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation.

      Participants:

      The defense was attended by both domestic and international scholars. Notably, Turkish scholar Professor Adem Oger (PhD) highly praised the scientific novelty, relevance, and depth of the research.

      Following the defense, the members of the Dissertation Council unanimously decided to award Aigerim Tashekova the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
