      Scientific Language: Strategic Issues and Solutions

      A national seminar-meeting titled “Scientific Language: Strategic Issues and Solutions” was held at the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University. The event was jointly organized by the Language Policy Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ahmet Baitursynov Institute of Linguistics, the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the International Society “Kazakh Language.”

      The seminar brought together representatives from higher education institutions, research institutes, and sectoral experts. The participants discussed the expansion of the use of the state language in the scientific domain, increasing the share of Kazakh in dissertations, research projects, and official documentation. They also exchanged experiences and presented proposals for the development and refinement of scientific terminology.

      The event served as a vital platform to promote the role of the Kazakh language in science. It was emphasized that increasing the scientific application of the state language is one of the key mechanisms for preserving national identity and enhancing competitiveness in education and science. Systematic efforts in this direction will help strengthen the position of the Kazakh language in academic and scientific environments.
