    • Psychological Awareness Session on «Family Planning»

On May 12, 2025, an informational and awareness-raising session on the topic «Family Planning» was held at Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, organized by the Center for Mental Health Development as part of Reproductive Health Week.

The main goal of the event was to promote awareness of family planning culture, enhance youth readiness for responsible parenthood, and provide comprehensive information on the importance of health preservation, child well-being, family stability, and sustainable societal development.

The guest speaker, Kamsat Karabekkyzy Amirova, a psychologist from the Center for Mental Health Development, emphasized that family planning is not only a matter of medical or financial readiness, but also a matter of emotional maturity, mutual responsibility, and psychological preparedness between partners.

The session was conducted in an interactive format, where students actively engaged in discussions, asked questions, and received professional psychological counseling. Key topics included emotional resilience of future parents, building trust in relationships, stress management, and internal motivation for raising children.

Participants were provided with informative materials that promoted responsible approaches to family life and parenting.

This event formed part of a broader initiative aimed at enhancing youth’s personal and family responsibility and fostering a culture of healthy, conscious parenthood.
