Language is the confession of the people

  The University hosted the Republican competition of experts in Russian literature "Language is the confession of the people". This annual tournament, which is a competition between teams of the best universities of Kazakhstan, experts in Russian literature and culture, is designed to develop communication skills, students' creativity, multilingualism in our society, and also to strengthen harmonious business and friendly relations between universities in the country.

  Three teams took part in the event: the Airbars team from the Civil Aviation Academy, the Logos team from the Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages ​​named after Ablai Khan, and the Alau team from the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University.

  The competition consisted of several stages: greeting the teams, a speech competition, a recitation competition, and linguistic quizzes. The jury included representatives of the Russian Cultural Center NGO, university professors, and experienced school teachers in Almaty.

  The participants demonstrated high literacy, activity and resourcefulness. The first place was fairly awarded to the Airbars team, the second place was taken by the Logos team, and the Alau team took the third place.

  A special charm to the competition was given by the greeting of foreign students of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University studying on the course "Russian as a Foreign Language". Students from different countries (India, China, Turkey, Angola, etc.) congratulated the contestants and wished them success and victory.

  This event contributed to strengthening friendly ties among students and increasing respect for different cultures and languages.
