![K-Lit & Treats: Winners of the Korean language artistic recitation contest have been determined]()
Today, the Department of Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication of the Institute of Philology organized and held the Korean language artistic recitation contest “K-Lit & Treats” among 1st-2nd year students.
The event was attended by students from three leading universities in Almaty: Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, and Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages.
During the contest, the participants skillfully and emotionally conveyed the works of famous Korean poets, demonstrating a high level of language proficiency, stagecraft, and a sincere interest in Korean culture. Each line in their performance came to life, leaving a deep impression on the audience.
According to the results of the competition, third place was taken by a student of the Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages Dayana Yerbolatova, as well as students of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University Ayaulym Almen and Nazym Kanytbek. Second place was awarded to a student of the Kazakh National Women's University Akbota Aman and a student of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi Yerkezhan Muratkhan. The winner of the competition was Merey Sabyrbek, a student of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University.
The event became a real celebration of poetry and language, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between universities and the relevance of in-depth study of the Korean language. Students also had the opportunity to demonstrate their creative abilities, love of literature and respect for the culture of a friendly nation.
