Industrial practice: professional competence of future educational psychologists

  From January 20 to March 29 and from March 31 to April 12, 3rd-4th year students of the educational programs "Pedagogy and Psychology" and "Psychology" underwent industrial practice in schools, military institutions, pedagogical and psychological centers and kindergartens in Almaty. Today, a conference was organized to summarize the acquired knowledge and experience.

  During the event, students shared their experience gained during the period of pedagogical practice and exchanged opinions.

  They talked about mastering important skills, such as understanding the needs of students, mastering the psychology of communication, conducting individual work, establishing communication with parents, creating conditions for student self-government and forming norms of behavior. The students also expressed their suggestions regarding the practice.

  Responsible specialists from the practice bases were invited to the conference to support the students. In addition, the event was attended by the faculty of the Department of Psychology and the practice supervisors, who expressed their warm wishes and valuable advice to the students.

  The teachers highly appreciated the students' activity and knowledge, expressing confidence that they will become qualified specialists in the future.

  The students' industrial practice significantly contributed to the application of theoretical knowledge in practice, the development of professional skills, and the improvement of personal and professional qualities.

  The exchange of experience and proposals at the conference demonstrated that this will become the basis for their professional growth and further success in the field of education and psychology.
