NAURYZ — DUMAN, NAURYZ — ZHYR

  Nauryz is a symbol of renewal and creation. During the period of awakening of nature and life, our people have celebrated the Nauryz holiday with special warmth since ancient times. This is a holiday of unity and prosperity, abundance and harmony. In honor of the Great People's Day, a festive concert entitled "Nauryz — duman, Nauryz — zhyr" was held at the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University.

  The event was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the University Omarkhan Oksikbayev, Chairman of the Board — Rector Gulmira Qanay, QyzPU employees, public figures, faculty, scientists, students, master's and doctoral students.

  At the beginning of the festive event, the Chairman of the Board of Directors Omarkhan Oksikbayev expressed his warm wishes to those gathered:

  "The Nauryz holiday is a traditional and great holiday that comes from our ancestors. May the New Year bring you happiness and prosperity! These days, Kazakhs wish each other: "Ulys on bolsyn, ak mol bolsyn!" May all the good undertakings started at the beginning of the year find their continuation and lead to great results. I wish everyone development and vitality. The New Year is the beginning of new hopes and achievements. Today's student is tomorrow's teacher. And becoming a great teacher is a great title. Therefore, the contribution of our graduates to the development of the country should be significant," said Omarkhan Oksikbayev.

  Kazakh traditions were presented at the festive event, which glorified the national significance and importance of Nauryz. In particular, such rituals as "korisu" (greeting ritual), Nauryz celebration, performance of zharapazan (festive songs), ritual of purification with good wishes from mothers in white headscarves, Kydyr-ata blessing, throwing sweets - all this was reflected in the holiday.

  Also, QyzPU graduate, "Akzhayiktyn ak shagalasy", poetess, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, laureate of the international literary prize "Alash" and the "Kurmet" order Akushtap Baktygereeva spoke with great nostalgia about her Alma Mater and expressed her sincere congratulations on the occasion of the holiday.

  "Every time I come to the Women's University, I feel excited. After all, I am a graduate of this university. My wish is the wish of the brown-eyed girls of the great steppe, called the Kazakh land. Happy holiday to you! Be happy! A wonderful life comes with Nauryz. May your future be bright! ", - said Akushtap Baktygereeva.

  The Nauryz holiday has a special meaning for the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University. This day is in tune with the goal of the university - glorifying traditional values ​​​​and nurturing the national spirit and cultural heritage of the younger generation.

  Celebrating Nauryz, the university staff sought to instill in young people respect for national traditions, customs and spiritual values ​​​​of the Kazakh people. The holiday also contributed to strengthening the internal unity of the educational institution, giving a new impetus to its educational and cultural mission.
