Art of Pop songs: Stage Time

  A republican student competition "Art of Pop songs: Stage Time" was held at QyzPU on the initiative of the Department of Choreography and Art Management of the Institute of Social and Humanitarian Sciences and Arts. The competition was organized in honor of the 65th anniversary of the Honored Cultural Figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honored Education Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor Alpyspay Kopbayev.

  The main goal of the event is to support talented youth, popularize national art, and form cultural and aesthetic values ​​among students.

  In accordance with the terms of the competition, students from universities and colleges from all over the country took part in it. Participants performed pop songs live and with backing tracks. As part of the event, experienced specialists also shared methods for correcting vocal timbre and expanding the range of the voice.

  The winners were awarded cash prizes in the following amounts: Grand Prix - 200,000 tenge, 1st place - 150,000 tenge, 2nd place - 100,000 tenge (2 times), 3rd place - 50,000 tenge (3 times).

  Following the results of the competition, the prizes were distributed as follows: 
  3rd place was taken by Nuriddin Asamadin (Mukhtar Auezov University, Shymkent), Bakytbay Bayra (Kaskelen College of Culture) and Ainabek Yernur (T. Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts, Almaty). 
  2nd place was awarded to Kudaibergen Nursultan (Mukhtar Auezov University, Shymkent) and Zamanbekkyzy Laura (Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University, Almaty). Akzhan Nurailym (Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University, Almaty) won the 1st place, and Kuan Zhuldyz (Republican College of Variety and Circus Arts named after Zhusipbek Elebekov, Almaty) won the Grand Prix.

  The "Variety Show: Stage Time" competition helped to reveal the creative potential of talented students and became the starting point for their further success on the path to professional art.
