      Financial literacy is the key to a safe future

      Today, the head of the operational department of the Department of Economic Investigations in Almaty, lieutenant colonel of the EIS Zhaksylyk Kuttukov, operational officer of the operational department, senior lieutenant of the EIS Zhasdauir Artykbay held a meeting with QyzPU students and organized a training seminar aimed at improving financial security, as well as financial and legal literacy of young people. The event was organized by the Center for the Development of Mental Health.

      During the event, experts told students in detail about the signs of financial pyramids, common types of fraud and ways to protect themselves from them. They also provided explanations on the types of fraud via the Internet and mobile banking and suggested methods for preventing such actions.

      The seminar was held in an interactive format with practical exercises. Participants discussed real examples, expressed their opinions, asked questions and received useful answers from experts.

      Participants of the event noted that their knowledge of financial security had significantly improved, and the seminar itself was highly appreciated. Such events play an important role in increasing financial and legal literacy among young people.
