      Winners of the QyzPU Cup chess tournament have been determined

      Today, our university hosted the QyzPU Cup chess tournament, organized by the Kazakhstan Chess Federation and the Department of Physical Education and Sports. 33 students from various faculties of the university took part in the competition.

      The goal of the tournament is to popularize chess among university students and develop the Chess Teacher program (minor). Starting from the 2025-2026 academic year, the university will implement the Chess Teacher program for students of all specialties, developed by the Federation's methodologists. As a result, future teachers will be able to teach children not only their subject, but also chess.

      According to the results of the exciting competition, the 3rd place (50,000 tenge) was taken by the 2nd year student of the educational program "Mathematics" Akan Madina, the 2nd place (70,000 tenge) went to the 1st year student of the educational program "Mathematics-Informatics" Ordabekova Diana, the 1st place (100,000 tenge) was taken by the 1st year student of the educational program "Scientific Physics" Ayaulym Shinburi.
