      Rector of QyzPU got acquainted with the practical experience of future teachers

      Today, the Chairman of the Board - Rector of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University Gulmira Qanay got acquainted with the practice of final-year students in educational institutions. She visited the private school "Zerdesh school" and school-gymnasium No. 176 in Almaty, where the students conducted lessons as part of the Lesson Study project.

      Interns Gulnur Turgalieva conducted a lesson on the subject "Literary Reading" on the topic "What do we know about animals?", and Aiym Kudaibergenovna conducted a lesson on the subject "English language" on the topic "Natural Disasters". They divided the students into groups depending on their level and effectively organized the lesson, using active methods and approaches.

      Rector Gulmira Qanay gave the students professional recommendations at the end of the lesson and expressed her opinion on the further development of their practice.

      The Lesson Study project has been implemented at QyzPU as a pilot project for the past three years. Its main goal is to improve the ability of future teachers to conduct research, improve their practical experience and develop creative thinking. Currently, 275 students of the university are undergoing practical training in about 30 educational institutions in Almaty.

      This initiative contributes to the improvement of professional skills of future teachers and helps improve the quality of education in schools.
