Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are strengthening cooperation in the field of higher education. In this regard, an intergovernmental meeting was held between the two countries. During the meeting, negotiations were held, as a result of which several memorandums were signed.
A delegation of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University headed by the Chairman of the Board - Rector Gulmira Qanay met with the Rector of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University Jafar Jafarov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Eldar Aslanov and Head of the International Relations Department Gunay Magerramova.
During the meeting, the parties signed a memorandum to strengthen mutually beneficial relations, develop cooperation in higher and postgraduate education, science, culture and scientific research.
This memorandum will strengthen the partnership between the two universities and expand the opportunities for academic exchange. The academic mobility program will allow students to gain language and cultural experience and will also be an important step that will positively influence their professional and academic development.
