      Mental Health in Focus

      At the request of the Almaty City Administration, the Mental Health Center of the Personality Development Department organized a preventive meeting for school principals, psychologists, and teachers of educational institutions No. 127 and No. 15, under the jurisdiction of the Almaty City Department of Education.

      The event aimed to raise awareness among educators and psychologists about children's mental health and to teach methods for preventing stress, emotional burnout, and other psycho-emotional issues that may affect students and teachers.

      During the meeting, experts from the Mental Health Center – Dr. Raushan Beidalykzy Karimova, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor, Psychotherapist, and Sara Smankyz Musina, Coach-Psychologist, Master of Social Sciences – delivered lectures and conducted training on the following topics:

      • Neuro-pedagogy and neuropsychology in the modern school education system;
      • Developing skills for effective interaction with children with various psycho-emotional characteristics;
      • Methods for supporting psycho-emotional education;
      • Ensuring well-being in the educational process;
      • Preventing stress and emotional burnout among teachers.

      The meeting provided participants with valuable insights into the importance of psycho-emotional stability in educational activities and equipped them with effective methods to incorporate into their professional practice.
