The aim of the ‘European Educational Research Association’ (EERA) is to further high quality educational research for the benefit of education and society. High quality research not only acknowledges its own context but also recognises wider, transnational contexts with their social, cultural and political similarities and differences.

      EERA and ECER:

EERA's commitment to advancing high-quality educational research resonates deeply with the ethos of scholarly inquiry and academic excellence. Through its multifaceted endeavours, including annual conferences and platforms for emerging researchers, EERA fosters an environment of intellectual exchange and critical engagement. ECER, as a flagship event, epitomises the spirit of interdisciplinary dialogue and scholarly rigour, providing a platform for scholars to disseminate their research findings and engage in enriching discourse.

Aigul Yeleussiz, a Ph.D. candidate from our university, has been awarded a bursary for conference participation, underscoring her scholarly prowess and commitment to advancing educational research. At ERC 2024, she will present a paper titled "Exploring Perceptions of Media Literacy of English as a Foreign Language Teachers in Kazakhstan," delving into the intricate interplay between media literacy and pedagogical practice within the Kazakhstani context. Furthermore, at ECER 2024, Aigul will present another paper titled "Exploring Teachers’ Media Literacy in Schools in Kazakhstan," offering valuable insights gleaned from her ongoing doctoral research. These contributions not only enrich the scholarly discourse surrounding media literacy but also lay the groundwork for future collaborations and academic endeavours.

Akerke Boltabekova will present her paper titled "Teacher Evaluation VS Teacher Attestation from Literature Review," while Diana Amirova will present "Formal and Informal Mentoring: The Literature Review."

As the scholarly community convenes at ECER 2024 in Nicosia, Cyprus, the pursuit of knowledge transcends geographical boundaries, fostering a collective endeavour towards educational excellence and societal advancement. Doctorate students’ participation serves as a beacon of scholarly dedication, embodying the spirit of inquiry and collaboration that lies at the heart of EERA's mission. Through her insightful contributions, students not only contribute to the academic discourse but also pave the way for future collaborations and transformative research endeavours.

Congratulations to QYZPU doctoral students on these remarkable achievements and wish them success in their academic endeavors!
